ACT!2012 consultation: current results Participate!
As you might know, last May 9th Barcelona Consensus opened a consultation to groups, organizations and networks in order to agree an Action for a Common Transformation. The consultation to agree on ACT!2012 will be open until May 31th. The most supported proposal will be chosen as the Action for a Common Transformation for 2012.
We start a new stage of the process of agree on an Action for a Common Transformation (ACT!), which began in 2011 with the opening of the call for proposals, ending in late March 2012, at which time were collected a total of 45 proposals. Then it became a selection of those proposals that met the requirements for an ACT events! Finally, a total of 8 worldwide proposals have been chosen to get into the support and agreement process.
During these three weeks, every organization can vote for a maximum of 3 ACT! Proposals (from a total of 8 selecteds) willing to support, based on ACT! criteria outlined. You can also express the commitment that you would take to support them: involvement ranging from simple spreading to coorganitzación (local, regional…).
Remember: an Action for a Common Transformation (ACT!) aims to be an action that takes place simultaneously in different countries of the world and in a certain period of time. It is carried out by citizenship together with the participation of worldwide organizations and global networks that vibrated with the assertion that “a different and more habitable world for everybody is possible.”
